Alex is a misunderstood kid who is dealing with a lot in his life righ now. I think that he is just trying to release his anger in a way that is not so useful.

I think that Alex is a teen who is struggling with life, because his mom and dad got a divorce, his dad is with his third grade teacher and he is having personal problems, but not only that, he is going to alcohol and anger to release his problems instead of going to an adult for help.

After reading the first two chapters of the book, I can infer that Alex is irrisponsible, impulsive, over-eggageritive, and a liar. Hopefully he will change by the end of the book.

I think that Alex is in a troubled time in his life and that he is unsure of how to deal with these toubles. Alex is upset that his mother and father are getting a divoce which is hard on any child no matter wht the age. I think that he is an okay kid but he just doesn't know how to deal with his anger and frustration properly. Instead of talking to people he decides to hide his feelings behind a shell of stuidity by drinking and driving, which, from my experience would not hapen if Alex would talk to his parents.

I think that Alex needs some positive support. Alex is doing bad things because his dad is sleeping with his 3rd grade teacher an his mom isnt there at all. Alex needs to have some good friends by his side to atleast tell him to not do the things he's doing, and help him work his problems out

Alex has a few problems in his life right now such as his parents divorce, and his dad dating his third grade teacher! I think Alex just doesnt really know how to deal with these problems right now so he chose to deal with them using alchohol, which lead to not such great things.

I think Alex is a teengaer with regular teen problems. He expresses his anger and hate by using his teenager brain which sometimes don't make the best choices. As a teenager, Alex does what he thinks will make him feel better and that thought was not the responsible "im turning into an adult" thought it was the "im going to do what i have to to make me feel better" thought. Alex's actions were based on his teenager way of life.

I think that Alex is just a teenager that is going through a divorce. Yes he did some bad stuff, but when he did that he was under the influence of alcohol. Not saying that it is a good thing that he was using alcohol, but I mean if you were the one with all of the pressure of a divorce and your dad going out with your third grade teacher, your bound to make some mistakes.

I think Alex is a typical teen with typical teen issues. He has a troubled home-life. His mother and father are in the process of divorse because Alex's father is going out with his third grade teacher. Which is Alex's oppinion is a no-good home-wrecking wench. Alex turns to drinking and wreckless ideas for his issues, rather than talk about it. So I say that Alex is a troubled, confused, typical teenager who dosen't know what to expect.

I feel Alex is a verry average teen going though a verry hard time in life. With his dad dating his 3d grade teacher and his mom being gone at work for most of the time its a hard life to not have bolth your pearents. Ales is a verry confused kid trying to find his way though life while trying to live a normal life.

I think Alex is behaving normally for anybody in a situation. If that was happening to me i might do much the same thing just to ease out of it. I personally think that everybody has reacted to a situation in a way that is not exactly beneficial to their standing at least once,do you agree?

I think Alex is just a misunderstood teen who is angry. I know i would be pretty mad at my dad if he broke up with my mom and went out with my third grade teacher. I think he just wishes everything was back to the way it was before his dad started cheating on his mom.

Alex is just like you or me, we all go through problems that we handle in diffrent ways. His parents are not just fighting but also fight in front of Alex, that can be hard on anyone and it makes you realize more that your family is falling apart. Drinking and driving is not a way to handle this situation like Alex did in the story, as well as justifying that your mother left the keys to liquor cabinet and car keys available to him.

I think Alex is misunderstood and confused about what he is going through. It must be scary to be in his situation. I dont blame him for going off like he did aven though it wasnt the smartest way to let out his anger.

I think Alex may be a little confused in life while also frusterated and angry. Many would probably agree because he is going through a lot with his family. For example, Alex's parents are getting a divorce and his dad is seeing his third grade teacher.Personally I would be usept about that situation too if I were him. However,I dont understand why he went to alcohol for help when he could talk to a counsler or better yet his best friend. With Alex turning to alcohol to "help" him go through all these problems shows that he is troubled.
